About Equine Touch

Equine Touch is a way of giving back to a horse what it gives to its owner.  We ask so much from these animals that sometimes we take for granted its “needs”, little alone its “wants”.  We have taken them out of their natural surroundings and herds and have asked them to fulfill our “needs” or “wants” without really understanding them. Equine Touch looks at horses with a holistic approach taking all factors into consideration.

Most modalities look at the horse from one aspect or injury and treat the horse without actually looking further into the root cause of the issue.  Equine Touch may help identify possible issues, then addresses them individually. ET is always beneficial, even when help is required from qualified Vets, or other modalities, to assist in the healing process. By working in this holistic manner all possible disorders contributing to physical, emotional and spiritual needs can be rectified or eased.

Equine Touch is a non-invasive discipline that performs a gentle move in a predetermined pattern that challenges the body in specific points.  As the body is electrically charged by performing a move we create an energy flow that is sent through the whole body, mostly via the fascia.  Depending on where the move is performed on the body, this energy flows through to its related point of address and has an effect on it.  This allows the body to reassess its state and adjust its harmonics.  Via the fascia it appears to have an effect on the meridians, muscles, nervous system and lymphatic system creating postural integrity which ultimately effects physical and emotional balance.
